I am a traveler, storyteller, culture lover, educator, and the creator of Passport & Prose. For me, travel has never been just about taking a trip or checking a country off a list. It has always been about the way a place makes me feel, what it teaches me, who I meet, what I taste, and the stories I carry home with me.

I have traveled to more than 20 countries, and every passport stamp has shaped the way I see life, culture, beauty, belonging, and possibility. Some places have given me peace. Some have connected me to family and roots. Some have stretched me, softened me, inspired me, or reminded me that the world is much bigger than my everyday routine.

Passport & Prose is where I collect those stories.

Why I Created Passport & Prose

I created Passport & Prose because I wanted a place where travel could be more than a photo album. I wanted to tell the story behind the destination — the feeling of arriving somewhere new, the meals that stay on your mind, the conversations that linger, the music that moves you, and the moments that make you feel alive.

As a Black woman, an educator, and a traveler, I move through the world with curiosity, reflection, and gratitude. My travel stories are rooted in culture, beauty, personal growth, joy, and the belief that meaningful travel can change how we see ourselves and others.

My Travel Style

My travel style is thoughtful, soulful, and a little bougie on a budget. I love beautiful hotels, good food, scenic views, local culture, meaningful experiences, and moments that feel soft, peaceful, and unforgettable.
